"Having a garden" may be a misnomer because I often think the garden "has me". It presents innumerable opportunities for photographic studies. Often I will se a Yellow Swallowtail Butterfly fluttering through the garden. They seldom stop, but on this morning it was diving into the Daylilies. In this image you can see the yellow pollen coating it's wings and legs.
GROWING LIKE A WEED
While walking across a bridge I would have walked right by this (I hate to say it) beautiful weed if my brother hadn't noticed it. That's a big advantage to having someone to photograph with. If it were growing in my garden I would have shot (photographed) it and then pulled it up. Lucky weed!
