The following art prints were inspired by the local Day of the Dead Marigold Parade in Albuquerque, N.M. On the day of the parade, I grabbed my camera and soon found myself standing beside the parade route with thousands of others. I was inspired by the passion of those who participated and thoroughly enjoyed being there.

The "Day of the Dead" celebration occurs each year begining on October 31st through November 2nd. During the observance, people honor loved ones who have passed, leaving gifts, favorite foods and marigold flowers at their graves. If you get a chance, I highly recommend going.
